As of 2020, there are four tests you’ll need to pass to get an endorsement waiver: A permit knowledge test, a permit skills test, an endorsement knowledge test, and an endorsement skills test. Applicants must bring their own bike.
Riders must complete one skills test & one knowledge test for all Three-Wheel/Sidecar & Trike Motorcycles. Applicants must bring their own three-wheel motorcycle.
Please check our calendar for the most up-to-date testing times and locations. Walk-in knowledge testing available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10Am to 3Pm at our Totem Lake Location.
Taken separately, each test is $50, for a total of $200 for all four tests.
All retest fees are $50 per test. You must wait at least 24 hours before retesting.
To prepare for the tests, be sure to take a look at the Department of Licensing Motorcycle Operator Manual.
You must be 18 years old to test. Students under the age of 18 must enroll in a safety course like the Basic Rider Course to receive their endorsement.
