Evergreen Motorcycle Training is proud to be one of the top motorcycle training companies in Washington state. We provide motorcycle training in five different locations in King county to serve you. Whether this is the first time you’ve ever sat on a motorcycle to the seasoned professional, we have a motorcycle training course for you!  Use the guide below to assist you in finding the best course for your riding ability.

Which course should I choose?

Pre-Basic Course

Choose this course if:

  • You are a brand new rider (must be able to ride a bicycle)
  • You have no experience other than riding a bicycle (great course if you are nervous about your ability)

Good to know:

  • A motorcycle and helmet are provided for this course
  • A Scooter is available upon request at our Totem Lake location only
  • Does not meet military base requirements
  • This is not a license waiver course
  • Recent experience on a 2-wheel bicycle will be valuable

Basic Rider Course (BRC)

Choose this course if:

  • You are a brand new rider (must be able to ride a bicycle)
  • You have no, or very little, experience
  • Scooters are available upon request at the Totem Lake Location only

Good to know:

  • A motorcycle and helmet are provided for this course
  • A Scooter is available upon request at our Totem Lake location only
  • Meets military base requirements
  • This is a license waiver course
  • Recent experience on a 2-wheel bicycle will be valuable

*You may use your own motorcycle in a basic or intermediate rider course if the motorcycle is under 500cc’s, you have proof of insurance for the motorcycle, and have a pre-ride inspection completed by the instructor. You must also have authorization from the office.

Intermediate Rider Course (IRC)

Choose this course if:

  • You have ridden in the past and remember how to manipulate all of the motorcycle controls
  • You have current riding experience

Good to know:

  • A motorcycle and helmet are provided for this course
  • A Scooter is available upon request at our Totem Lake location only
  • Meets military base requirements
  • This is a license waiver course

*You may use your own motorcycle in a basic or intermediate rider course if the motorcycle is under 500cc’s, you have proof of insurance for the motorcycle, and have a pre-ride inspection completed by the instructor. You must also have authorization from the office.

Experienced Rider Course (ERC)

Choose this course if:

  • You have at least 1,000 miles of riding experience before taking this course

Good to know:

  • You will ride your own motorcycle and wear your own helmet
  • If  you have a scooter of your own you may bring and use it
  • Meets military base requirements
  • This is a license waiver course

Additional Riding Course (ARC)

Choose this course if:

  • You have completed the BRC but are not ready for the open road
  • Students must have completed the BRC to register for this course

  • A Scooter is available upon request at our Totem Lake location only
  • Does not meet military base requirements
  • This is not a license waiver course
