*You may use your own motorcycle in a basic or intermediate rider course if the motorcycle is under 500cc’s, you have proof of insurance for the motorcycle, and have a pre-ride inspection completed by the instructor. You must also have authorization from the office.
*Personal Sidecars and Trikes may be used during basic S/TEP courses if you have proof of insurance for the Sidecar or Trike and it passes a pre-ride inspection. It is at the instructor’s discretion whether your Sidecar/Trike will be able to maneuver through the exercises successfully prior to allowing you to ride it in the course. VW trikes typically don’t fit due to the length.
